Stefanos Tsitsipas didn’t have a great fortnight in Miami, where he lost in straight sets in the quarters to Hubert Hurkacz. Unfortunately, it has been reported that Stefanos and his father Apostolos, have been fined $7,500 for breaking the bubble protocols in Miami. According to top journalist, Ben Rothenberg, Tsitsipas was lucky not to be kicked out of the tournament. The tennis fans were also not impressed by the news.

Stefanos’ schedule
Stefanos will be back in Europe, where he will commence the clay-court season. His first tournament with the ATP1000 in Monte Carlo (12th of April), where he will challenge Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic for the title. Stefanos will also play Patrick Mouratouglou’s UTS this weekend.

Ranked no.5 (career-high), the Greek played his last match on the 1st of April when he was defeated by world no.37 Hubert Hurkacz 2-6 6-3 6-4 in the quarter in Miami (draw).
Until now, during this year Tsitsipas achieved a composed 17-5 match record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s most significant accomplishment of this season was getting to the final in Acapulco.
