Alexander Zverev and Fabio Fognini accepted 2 wild cards to play in Spain

Alexander Zverev and Fabio Fognini will compete in the main draw in Marbella after being granted a wildcard. Unfortunately, Sebastian Korda decided to withdraw plausibly because he was struggling with a leg injury during the quarter-final at the Miami Open. Also, Roberto Bautista-Agut decided not to play. He is currently competing in Miami where he will face Jannik Sinner in the semi-final

Talking about other players, Rune received a wild card while Alcaraz will start his run from the qualifications. Andrey Rublev is also part of the entry list, but there are doubts about his participation since he’s playing now at the Miami Open, where he reached the semi-finals.
