Tsitsipas eager to forget losing the Acapulco final to Zverev and move on at the Miami Open

Stefanos Tsitsipas is looking forward to starting his campaign at the Miami Open and leave in the past the bad experience he had in the final in Acapulco vs. Zverev

Stefanos Tsitsipas And Sascha Zverev

Stefanos Tsitsipas had a rather nasty experience in his latest final in Acapulco, where he lost to Alexander Zverev in straight sets. The world no.5 was in firm control of that match to have also the opportunity to get a commanding 5-1 lead in no time. However, he imploded and it was the German no.1 to win the encounter 6-4 7-6(3).

Tsitsipas looked distraught after losing that match that put him on an awkward 0-6 record in ATP500 finals. Something similar also happened to Stefanos in the 2020 final in Hamburg, where he was leading Andrey Rublev 5-2 in the 3rd set before losing 5 consecutive games and the final.
