At the moment ranked no.31 (career-high), the Italian played his last match on the 18th of March when he was defeated by Aslan Karatsev 6-7(5) 6-3 6-2 in the quarter in Dubai (draw).
This season the Italian has managed to achieve a composed 9-4 record. Jannik conquered 1 title in Melbourne.
