Stefanos Tsitsipas lost yet another tough ATP500 final last week in Acapulco against Alexander Zverev. The world no.5 seemed to be in full control of the match when he also had the opportunity to lead 5-1 in the opening set before caving in and lose 6-4 7-6(3). After Mexico, Stefanos headed to the Miami Open with low expectations.
During an interview in Florida, he admitted that he was still quite bittered by what happened in Mexico, but eventually, he will try to see the bright side and use that experience for the future.
“I come here a bit bittered, I won’t lie. I feel like I had my chances last week and it was a great run with many positive things. think I played great tennis.”
