Stefanos Tsitsipas had a bad fall when he was training in Miami.

Stefanos Tsitsipas Injury Miami Open

Stefanos Tsitsipas loves to keep his intensity high during his training, but he went a bit for too much in Miami. The world no.5 was practicing with his father Apostolos and trainer Jerome Bianchi when he suddenly decided to take a “diving volley” to land badly on his shoulder. There was some apprehension since soon after, the Greek champion was touching his right wrist for some time.

Tsitsipas should be fine right now. However, these are small things that could have a detrimental effect in the near future. Probably being more careful would be advisable.

Stefanos has a bye for the second round in Miami, where he will face either Kevin Anderson or Thiago Moura Monteiro in his opening match.
