Ann Li has played rather good tennis this year and had a goot run in Monterrey where she reached the semifinal. The American gained 5 places in the rankings to be the new world no. 67 (career-high).

Leilah Fernandez had an outstanding tournament in Monterrey where she conquered her maiden title. After this success, the young Canadian goes up 16 places in the rankings to be the new world no. 72 (career-high).

Anastasia Gasanova also had a great week in St. Petersburg where she reached the quarters after starting her campaign from the qualifications. Anastasia went 58 places up in the rankings to reach her world no.183 career-high.
