Also Cilic banned for doping!?
Wow.. that is getting quite ugly.
After all the mess coming out from the 18th months ban to Vickor Troicki for failing to provide a blood test, now it seems that Marin Cilic is already serving a suspension for failing a test.
This news comes from the Croatian Media as it has been alleged that Marin failed a test during the tournament in Munich in April (he lost in his opener against Dodig).
Apparently Cilic got a glucose substance that was banned.
Cilic was informed about this in Wimbledon just before the match against Kenny De Schepper. Marin then decided not to play citing a dubious injury.
Marin is already collaborating with the ITF and he may get back to competitions as early as next months.
It sounds so strange that a person like Marin alters his performance by using banned substances. we really hope that he was a case of “mis-information”.
But it is very important to address all these issues as soon as possible. This is getting bad!
