Daniil Medvedev becomes officially the world no.2 after he surpassed Rafael Nadal in the rankings while Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev maintain their career-high.

The Russian no.1 had a great week in Marseille where he won his 10th title defeating a coriaceous Pierre-Hugues Herbert 6-4 6-7(4) 6-4 in the final. Daniil was elated with the success even if he was guaranteed the second place in the rankings in the case that he didn’t conquer the event.

In the top 10, there were no other movements with Stefanos Tsitsipas (world no.5) and Andrey Rublev (world no.8) staying at their career high.
