Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have a fantastic rivalry that was played in 50 official matches. The world no.5 is finally back to competitions in Doha where he will play a tournament after 14 months.

Roger was asked to release his comments about Novak Djokovic. The Serbian sensation is beating Federer’s record of being at the top of the rankings for more than 310 weeks and he is aiming at being the male player with most slams under his belt.

“I enjoy playing against him. We have different game style,” said Federer,  “We always bring the best out of each other. Novak can go in a mood where he is not gonna miss. He is one of the greatest players ever. He made me a better player.”

Roger will commence his run in Doha from the 2nd round when he will face either Daniel Evans or Jeremy Chardy.

Now the world no.5, Roger played his last match on the 30th of January 2020 when he capitulated to Novak Djokovic 7-6(1) 6-4 6-3 in the semifinal of the Australian Open (draw).

Ranked no.1, the Serbian played his last match on the 21st

of February when he defeated Daniil Medvedev 7-5 6-2 6-2 in the final of the Australian Open to win his 82nd career title.

At the moment, during this season Djokovic has an overall 9-0 record. Novak conquered 1 title at the Australian Open.
