Eugenie Bouchard and Olga Danilovic didn’t have a great run in singles in Lyon where they crashed as early as in their opening game. However, they decided to partner in doubles to reach the final.
Bouchard and Daniolovic got to the final after winning 3 tough matches and 2 of them in the 3 set and with a very slim margin. In the final, they will challenge the seeds no.1: Viktoria Kuzmova and Arantxa Rus. The match will be played on Sunday at 1 pm.
After this week, Genie will fly to Guadalajara to play the WTA250 event. Danilovic will take a pause and she will compete in St. Petersburg in a couple of weeks, when she will start from the qualifications.
