Stefanos Tsitsipas is one of the most interesting upcoming players on tour that will try to emulate the success of the very best. The battle of the slams
Until now, Federer and Nadal have conquered 20 slams while Djokovic has won 18 majors. As per Stefanos Tsitsipas’s words in the past, it sounded even impossible to break Sampras’ slam record (14). However, that very record was shattered by 3 players in the same era. Therefore, Tsitsipas thinks that the new generation may achieve something similar.

During a recent interview, Stefanos Tsitsipas commented:
“All I can say is a big thumbs up. I think the new generation could do something similar in the future. I do not think anyone 15 years ago expected Federer to surpass the Sampras record. It is difficult to predict what will happen. We as a new generation have many players capable of achieving big things.”

At the moment ranked no.6, Tsitsipas has managed to achieve a compiled 7-1 win-loss record in 2021. Stefanos is now having a run in Rotterdam where he ousted Egor Gerasimov 7-64 7-5.

Novak Djokovic in 2021
Ranked no.1, Novak played his last match on the 21st of February when he beat Daniil Medvedev 7-5 6-2 6-2 in the final of the Australian Open to win his 82nd career title.
Until now, during this year Novak owns a composed 9-0 win-loss record. The Serbian has won 1 title at the Australian Open.
