Naomi Osaka and Iga Swiatek share a special relationship. Osaka and Swiatek love making jokes and spending time together when they can. The Japanese sensation and the French Open champion had a nice video chat for their fans’ enjoyment. Recently, Swiatek made a funny entrance during Naomi Osaka’s press conference at the Australian Open.

Naomi Osaka reveals that she was quite nervous while watching the 2020 French Open final as she was clearly siding for Iga Swiatek. Osaka posted on Twitter: “I hate watching tennis when I’m rooting for someone. Why are my muscles tensing up like I’m about to hit the ball? More importantly, whyyyyyyyy are my palms so sweaty????

During a recent interview, Iga Swiatek also shared her happiness for Naomi Osaka’s success at the recent Australian Open to say:

“I also watched finals and, yeah, I’m really happy that Naomi won. I feel like she’s pretty strong right now and that’s her place to be. So it’s great.”

Now ranked no.2, Naomi played her last match on the 20th of February when she beat Jennifer Brady 6-4 6-3 in the final of the Australian Open to win her 7th career title.

At present, during this year Naomi has achieved a composed 10-0 win-loss record. The Japanese clinched 1 title at the Australian Open.
