McEnroe sees a bright future for Murray

This is quite a good moment for Andy Murray. The Scott has won his first Wimbledon ending a 77 years drought for the Brits to be posed go for more in the near future.

We need to say that his performance in the last slams has been quite remarkable. In fact, Andy has reached 4 finals in the last 4 slams he has participated (he missed the Roland Garros) to win two of them.

The triumph in Wimbledon has been impressive as he didn’t concede a single set to the world no.1 Novak Djokovic. This means only one thing: Andy will get more.

From McEnroe

Big Mac is quite sure about that to say to the BBC

“I’d be surprised if he doesn’t win at least six majors. He’s come into his own and there’s a lot to look forward to. This is a big thing. This is a new face who has stepped up in a big way.”

“It’s clearly important for all of tennis, but here it’s monumental. Every year people ask the same questions — now he never has to hear Fred Perry’s name again. When he pumped his fists at the end, I thought he was doing it to Tim Henman in the BBC commentary booth because he had some mutual respect for what Tim had done himself.” said John.
