Jannik Sinner Will Not Play In Rotterdam

Jannik Sinner eventually didn’t make it. The Italian sensation got injured to his lower back in the first round in Montpellier when he was facing Aljaz Bedene. Jannik Sinner was optimistic about playing in the Netherlands, but eventually, he pulled out from the draw.

Jannik Sinner posted the following message on Instagram Stories:

Hey guys.. Sad to say I have to pull out of Rotterdam next week. I still have some pain in my back and I’m not 100% fit yet-sorry. Thank you as always Richard Krajicek for the opportunity hope to see everyone there next year.

 

Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Zverev in Rotterdam

Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev are the top seeds in Rotterdam following also some important defections. Rafael Nadal was meant to lead the draw, but unfortunately he couldn’t make it because of the back issues that he has been battling since the Australian Open.
