Injured Barty withdraws from Doha. Halep, Kenin, Andreescu also not in the draw

Ashleigh Barty follows Simona Halep, Sofia Kenin and Bianca Andreescu in withdrawing from the upcoming WTA event in Doha. The Australian champion has been nursing for long a left leg injury. She lost in the opener in Adelaide and eventually she decided to pull out from Doha to recover.

The event has recently lost some other top players, such as Sofia Kenin (appendix operation), Bianca Andreeescu (leg injury), and Simona Halep (no explanation). The event will be staged from the 1st of March.
