Naomi Osaka won her 4th slam at the Australian Open after keeping a perfect record in the finals. Naomi Osaka keeps on being compared with the greatest. Before her, only 2 players managed to achieve the same feat of winning the first 4 slams finals: Roger Federer and Monica Seles.
During a recent interview, Naomi commented:
“I try to control what I can control, which is to work hard and create opportunities for myself. Four Grand Slams out of four finals as before you have only Monica Seles and Roger Federer managed to do? I’d say I’m in good company! I hope I can have a career even remotely comparable to theirs.”
Noami decided not to compete during the short Middle East swing in Doha and Dubai to focus on the next tournament in Miami that will be staged from the 22nd of March.
