Novak Djokovic is not only one of the greatest players in tennis history, but he is also a devoted husband and affectionate father. The world no.1 is not a big fan of the current situation on tour as the players are often bound to face the restrictions imposed by the global pandemic.

Djokovic has often expressed his discontent with the difficulties of playing all over the world, given the actual situation. He believes that a good solution would be to create clusters where many tournaments are played. In the meantime, Novak has to revise the schedules.

“At times, it rips my heart apart.

I will have to revise my schedule comparing to the last year or any other season before this. Obviously, time away from family definitely is something that has an impact on me.

I’ll have to see with these rules and regulations and restrictions in place all over the world, Europe. Not being able to take my family on the road is something that is a big problem for me.”

Novak is the only top player that hasn’t scheduled to participate in any tournaments in the next month. Many top guns are going to compete in Rotterdam and the Middle East in the coming weeks.
