Rafael Nadal has demonstrated once again that he is a champion despite incurring an extremely tough loss to Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Spanish sensation demolished the Stefanos in the first 2 sets of the Australian Open quarter-final before losing a heartbreaker in 5 sets.
After the match, when asked about his defeat, he refused to find excuses stressing the fact that he is still a very lucky guy especially during this tough period.
“We can find excuses or reasons, or maybe this quarantine that we need to be more time in the room than usual. But I’m not the guy that’s going to find excuses on that or going to complain about what happened, no.
Just accept. I never considered myself an unlucky person at all. Doesn’t matter the injuries that I had. I think I am a very lucky person.”
Kyrgios, Nadal and his reaction
Nick has always stated that he is the polar opposite of Rafa and he definitely admires his work ethic saying “quality” when commenting on their match and life in general.
