While we are lucky to have tennis back during this pandemic, unfortunately, things are wildly complicated for the tennis players. Michail Pervolarakis was Stefanos Tsitsipas’ teammate at the recent ATP Cup in Melbourne and he just announced that he tested positive for Coronavirus after he arrived in Potchefstroom, South Africa, where he was supposed to play a local event.
Fortunately, Michail is completely asymptomatic, but he seems extremely unhappy his current situation.
“Hi everyone. After a 24+ hour travel day from Australia to South Africa I’ve been diagnosed positive to COVID-19.1 am completely asymptomatic at the moment and will have to quarantine in an isolation facility in Potchefstroom. I am not a person that complains, but I feel that I need to express my disappointment with the conditions we are in.”
