Murray’s shocking early defeat in Indian Wells

Maybe the loss at the Australian Open has been a real shock for Murray, but he has to forget it and keep on going.
World Nr. 5 suffered another early defeat after that in Rotterdam where he was crashed in straight sets by Baghdatis with a telling 6-4 6-1.
In Indian Wells it was even worse: he lost 7-6 6-3 with the American Qualifier Donald Young.
According to the Scotsman ‘I thought I started the match well and then when it got close to the end of the first set. I didn’t do anything particularly well,’
‘I didn’t do anything to really lift myself. The crowd were for him and he started playing better. I didn’t find my way back into the match.’ he added.
Indian Wells lost also the sixth seed. David Ferrer was beaten by Ivo Karlovic 7-6 6-3.
World Nr.1 Rafael Nadal had an easy match over the South African Rik de Voest (6-2 6-0)
