Ajla Tomljanovic and Matteo Berrettini have been dating for a couple of years and it seems that they are enjoying life on tour together. Ajla and Matteo have managed to reach the 2nd round at the Australian Open and are ready to go for more.
After beating Misaki Doi in straight sets, Ajla commented about her new mind frame to say:
“I cherish it more, but at the same time I still have that pressure that I put on myself. I think before. I wouldn’t say I took it for granted, but I took it more as a kid.
Now I feel not that my time is limited, but I want to treat every tournament as a huge opportunity that can take me places. I definitely do think I’m a little bit not on the older side, but just a little more experienced and mature. I’m not 20 anymore.”
Matteo is in a great place as he has been playing one of his career’s best tennis. He impressed during the ATP Cup when he conceded no sets when defeating Dominic Thiem and Gael Monfils. However, he later had to bow to an exceptional Daniil Medvedev in the final.
