Wozniacki beats Laura Robson with a news racket at Eastbourne

A new racket a new trophy? It wight be!

Former world no.1 Caroline Wozniacki is trying everything she can to get to the top positions of the WTA ranking. Now world no.9, Caroline has been changing coach quite frequently and now she is trying a new stick!

New Racket

Caroline has still a contract with Yonex, but now she is playing with an “anonymous” racket.

“I’m just tinkering a little bit with my racket. I’m still under contract with Yonex, so we’re just trying to figure out, a racket that can help me a little bit more with my game.

I just feel like I needed a little bit more power and the racket will help.”

The match vs. Robson

The match against Laura wasn’t a brilliant one as both players committed quite an amount of errors. This is something that you can expect especially on grass and in warm up tournaments.

Next vs. Makarova

Caroline will play Ekaterina Makarova for a place in the semifinal. Head to head is 5-0 for Caroline. They have played each other already once on grass and it was also in the quarter finals in Eastbourne in 2009 when Caroline won 6-3 6-2.
