Bad news from the Russian camp as the former world no.1 Svetlana Kuznetsova will not be able to participate to the upcoming Championship due to an abdominal strain.
Now ranked world n.26 the Russian was playing a very good tennis to trying to get back to a top 20 rank, but not playing Wimbledon will hamper her quest.
Svetlana has already won a couple of slams. In 2004 she triumphed at the US Open and in 2009 she won the Roland Garros.
Wimbledon will kick off this coming Monday.
