Before Halle Roger could not be able to win a asingle tournament in 2013. Actually it was 10 months since it could not lift a trophy (Cincinnati 2012). This was no good for Roger’s morale. Winning in Halle changed something.
After having found a new confidence, Roger feels “fit and ready” to defend his title in Wimbledon.

“For me, it is great in terms of confidence. Winning solves everything really. It was good to fight as well in the last couple of matches.
I’m just very happy how I played this week and excited about what’s to come now. Because I feel confident, I feel fit and fresh and that’s very important at this point in the season.” said the Maestro.
About the 2013
As we said this season has not been so great for Federer. To tell the truth he has been playing a very good tennis, but he was just struggling to get the extra mile in terms of results.
“I’m not absolutely satisfied with the first six months. Maybe if I had changed my tournament schedule I would have won more titles but that wasn’t the goal.” said Federer.
Roger is ready for the fight in Wimbledon… everybody is advised!
