The first triumph came on the clay of Nuremberg where Simona defeated Andrea Petkovic in straight sets.
Andrea Petkovic was looking forward to win her third career title, but that din’t happen. No problem for the German that is recovering from a series of injuries “Simona played incredibly, and I was a little tired. Still, I had a good week.” said Andrea.
