Murray and Cilic to clash for the Aegon Championship title

We have a very interesting final at Queens this year as the seed no.1 Andy Murray will clash against the defending champion Marin Cilic.

Murray – Tsonga 4-6, 6-3, 6-2

The world no.2 had a tough life to rally from 1 set set down and win the semifinal against Tsonga in 1 hour and 48 minutes.

Talking about the final Murray commented. “It will be a very tough match. He plays well here. He’s won nine matches in a row and he’s beaten some very tough, top grass court players this week.

I’ll try to play a good match tomorrow and regardless of what happens for me, it’s a good step in the right direction. It’s another tough match against one of the Top 10 grass court players in the world, I would say.”

Cilic – Hewitt 6-4, 4-6, 6-2

There was quite a controvery here as the officials unceremoniously shifted Hewitt’s semi-final against  Cilic from the centre court  to an outside court during the first set. Hewitt was quite upset as it looked quite disrspectful and the other court didn’t have the eye-hawk.

Finally Cilic won the match in 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The final: Murray – Cilic

Head to head is 8-1 for Murray. 2-0 for the Scott on grass.
