Dan Evans

Daniel Evans demolishes Felix Auger Aliassime 6-2 6-3 in the final in Melbourne on Sunday after playing a solid match to win his 1st career title, the 1st of this season. The match lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes.

Evans was delighted about the result. He commented:

“It was good to be out there and win, but like I said last year, this year I wanted to do well in the bigger events. I didn’t have great Grand Slams last year, albeit a strange year, but my focus is on this week now. I’ve got a tough match against Cam (Norrie) and hopefully get through that one.

I want to do well next week, but delighted with how today went and this week, but it’s over now, and look forward to Tuesday.”
