Simona Halep didn’t manage to win her back to back title in Cincinnati following her fantastic run in Montreal. The Romanian fell in the final in Ohio at the hands of a very competitive Kiki Bertens

that saved a championship point in the second set.

The tweener

After losing the second set, Simona’s tennis went a bit down, but her “never give up” attitude was still there.

When the world no.1 was 1-4 down in the decider, she found herself chasing a lob to stun the crown with a fantastic tweener that landed near the baseline. The Romanian went on winning that point to leave a great memory to her fans.

Fantastic!
