Raonic hires Ivan Ljubicic as a full time coach

Milos Raonic was ranked no.13 last year to be super confident to break into the top 10 very soon. That didn’t happen. The Canadian from that moment on was “stuck” into the top 20.

Now Milos has decided to hire Ivan Ljubicic as a full time coach.

From Milos

“Being coached by Ivan will really offer a new dimension to my game. He brings such a vast knowledge of the game and his recent experience on Tour is a major plus for my development. We both come from aggressive styles of play so he can definitely understand the mentality I have on court and areas where I can improve.

I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can from him and to continue to grow my game in the best way possible.” said Raonic

From Ivan

“Working with Milos will be a great challenge. He already has great weapons and I am looking forward to helping him develop his game even further this season.

Since I retired I have never been too far from the tour and I think that my familiarity with the tour can be of help to Milos.”

Ivan Ljubicic has retired last year. The Croat reached a career high no.3 and he won 10 ATP titles.
