It’s Federer – Nadal again!!!

For the delight of tennis fans we will have another Federer-Nadal fight.
The two players had a completely different path to the semifinals.
Federer was gifted by Simon’s retirement due to a stiff neck after he was leading 3-0 (and 2 breaks up).
Simon was heavily booed by the crowd when he was heading to the locker room.
Federer commented ‘It’s not a whole lot fun honestly because you see the guy being booed off the court, which he clearly doesn’t deserve. I understand the frustration from the people paying a lot of money to come see us play for multiple hours potentially, and then it’s over within ten minutes. It’s not great.’
Nadal had a completely different story.
He displayed one of his best tennis of the year in the first set where he managed to win 6-2.
Then Berdych fought back to win the second set 6-3.
The decider highlighted why Nadal is world nr.1 and why Berdych still needs to fully take advantage of his potential.
On one hand, the Spaniard was not playing really well, but he managed somehow to find a more solid game. On the other hand Berdych became shaky with a horrible percentage of first serve (43%).
Nadal was up 4-3 and noticed that his opponent was growing nervous and nervous. He saw the blood and he went for it. That break allowed the Spaniard to win the set by 6-3.
Let’s see the outcome of the next match!
