McEnroe wins his fifth Aegon Masters Tennis

The US legend John McEnroe keeps a high profile also in his tennis second life. After losing in the round robin vs the Australian the American managed to have his revenge and win the final with an aggressive tennis.
The first set was an easy one. The American managed to break the opponent twice in the third and fifth set. Then Cash had a tighter game in the second set when he suffered the decisive break in the crucial seventh game.
‘I never thought I’d win another title here,’ said McEnroe. ‘The people here have been fantastic to me. It’s a great place to play tennis and maybe myself and Pat can have a rematch here next year. It means a lot that people still want to watch me play and to win here again is unbelievable.’
‘I felt a bit doubtful before the match but I’m glad I made it out here today and played. My timing was off a fraction and it felt like I hadn’t put my contacts lenses in today,’ commented Cash.
Great stuff!
