Djokovic, Nadal and Federer to kick start their season in Adu Dhabi

Today the tennis season has its start with the rich exhibition in Adu Dhabi.(250.00USD… the winners takes all!).

In 2012 Novak has to defend the incredible season he enjoyed in 2011 (3 Slams, 7 major titles and the top spot in the ATP ranking).
Rafa has to recover his ‘lost spark’ in order to defend his gold Olympic medal (he defeated Novak in the SF in Beijing 4 years ago when the Serb missed an incredible overhead) and his title at the Roland Garros.
Roger wants to extend his incredible year end season and be back at the top spot of the ranking.

Besides the top 3, the Mubadala Tennis World Championship will feature also other players with big hopes in 2012.
The first match will be Tsonga vs Ferrer.
‘It has been a good year for me as I came back into the top ten. It has been a good year for me as I came back into the top ten.’ said Tsonga

‘It’s a great chance to play with the best players in the world. It’s no different to playing an ATP tournament with the likes of Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. Tsonga is going to be difficult and I know I will need to play my very best in order to beat him but the conditions in Abu Dhabi are perfect so I look forward to it,’ said Ferrer.

The second match will be Djokovic vs. Monfils.
‘This is a great start to a new season. I have been working on a few aspects of my game and, though I am taking on Djokovic, I can fearlessly try them out,’ said the Frenchman.
‘One of my aims for 2012 is to stay healthy and fit and to try and make it to the top ten’

The Serb declared to be now completely injury free and ready for a great season

This will be an interesting test.
