The partnership with Ivan Lendl started very well for Murray that managed to immediately win his first tournament in Brisbane.
To be frank his the adventure at the Rafter Arena did not start brilliantly as the Scott managed to win his first 2 matches in 3 hard sets.
Then his game improved drammatically so as to end brilliantly in the final by trashing the Ukranian. Dolgopolov did not play very well since he was battling with a problem to his right leg and if you are not 100% with Murray, you can’t achieve much! The match lasted only 1hour.
It was interesting that Murray during his talk at the end of the match, after aknowledging his opponent problem to the leg, thanked ‘Mr. Lendl’.
This is the 22nd ATP title for Murray and he is now strongly aiming at winning his first slam with the help of ‘Mr. Lendl’
He will think about that on his flight to Melbourne!
