Federer breezes past Del Potro to reach the semis in the 2012 Australian Open

Roger Federe has another remarkable match at the 2012 Australian Open.

After Tomic, he gave a tennis lesson also to Del Potro.

The strart was revealing. Roger grabbed a 3-0 lead in 9 minutes with lots of ohhh-shots. Then Del Potro fought back to get to 4-4 to then give the set away with a double fault when he was 4-5 down. Then game over. The Swiss had much more weapons to play than the Argentinian.

‘I’m very happy. It was a great match,’ said Federer, ‘It was a high quality match and Juan Martin is a wonderful player and I know how hard he can hit the ball.’
He will then watch the Nadal-Berdych match on TV, ‘even though I know both players very well.’
‘There’s no secrets out there, but I’ll still enjoy it. I love good tennis.’

We may see anoter Federer-Nadal epic very soon. Looking forward to it!
