Germany – Croatia 2-1
In Zagreb, Germany has a 2-1 lead over Croatia after Christopher Kas and Philipp Petzschner outlasted Ivan Dodig and Ivo Karlovic 6-3, 3-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4
Serbia-India 2-1
The defending champion is leading 2-1 after Nenad Zimonjic and Ilija Bozoljac rallied to defeat Rohan Bopanna and Somdev Devvarman 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (10)
France – Austria 2-1
Jurgen Melzer and Oliver Marach won the doubles match against France Michael Llodra and Julien Benneteau 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4
This victory allowed Austria to avoid elimination after a 0-2 deficit.
Czech Republic – Kazakhstan 2-1
Berdych and Dlouhy defeated Evgeny Korolev and Yuriy Schukin 6-4, 6-4, 7-6 (4) to give the 2-1 to their team
US – Chile 2-1
The Bryan’s defeated Jorge Aguilar and Nicolas Massu 6-3, 6-3, 7-6 (4) giving the opportunity to Andy Roddick to win the tie.
