John Isner will have a difficult task in the quarter finals in Delray Beach where he will play the new Australian sensation.
In the previous match Isner beat Sweeting in straight sets (6-3 6-4) and Tomic dismissed Smyczek 6-1 7-5.
It is the first time Tomic and Isner will play one against the other.
Another good news is that Roddick found some of his tennis against Istomin to defeat him 6-4 7-5. This was the best way to havenge his shocking loss in San Jose. (see article here) He will play Anderson in the quarters.
On the other side of the draw Matosevic will take on Gulbis and Kohlschreiber Sela.
