Azarenka, Radwanska and Sharapova advance – 2012 WTA Indian Wells

It took only 69 minutes for Azarenka to beat Goerges to play with her ‘friend’ Agnieszka to the next round.

‘If I relax my butt a little bit, somebody’s going to come and kick it,’ she said.

Talking about Radwanska and their recent row ‘She’s someone who always comes up with something different,’ Azarenka said. ‘She’s a little magician, if you can call it that.’
‘I actually never had a problem with her,’ she added . ‘She’s a great player, great girl, so nothing there is to discuss.’

Radwanska had a tough one against the wild card Jamie Hampton fro USA that had to retire (cramps) when she was 3-0 down in the third set. The American had a remarkable tournament (she beat former world nr.1 Jelena Jankovic in the second round)

‘She was really hitting the ball very well, very consistent, good serve and moving very well,’ Radwanska said. ‘I just noticed when she fell down. It’s always tough, especially that you can’t really have medical timeout for that. It’s tough to come back.’

We had also a Sharapova’s show against Roberta Vinci and a remarkable performnce by Na Li (56 minutes to get to the next round.
