No time to think.. time to play again!!!
The Indian Wells just ended (with a lot of emotions) and we go immediately to the East to see what is going to be over there.
Miami is the second 1000 ATP test of the month/year and it should confirm or destroy the impressions we gained in the first part (of the first part) of the year.
Basically… the new faces in the tour (Raonic and Tomic) are not (yet) entering the tennis elite (ie. top 10). They are still quite green (but Rafa was already playing like a veterean when he was 17…)
2012 Novak is not equal to 2011 Novak (but he is not that bad either). Rafa is not finding a solution to his problem (Novak) and he has now another very big problem (Roger). Roger is now the hottest player in the world. Maybe he forgot he should retire… or he think he is still 24… funny enough .. it is working!
So we got to the Miami draws where Roger is in Novak’s half (not nice for Novak) and Andy in Rafa’s (very nice for Rafa unless Ivan finally finds a cure for Andy!).
An interesting news is a vintage clash in the first round (Davydenko – Blake) and also the fact that Novak may play fellow countryman Troiki in the 3rd round (any nationalistic upset over there?).
We don’t know how it is going to end… we just hope players will be carefull not to get any sick this time. Let’s have fun!
