Nadal wins an epic match with Tsonga to meet Murray in the semis – 2012 ATP Sony Ericsson – Miami – YouTube video

Rafa is a living legend for many reasons, but may be the most important one is his endurance.

There are endless matches where the Spaniard managed to pull out tricky situations to win an epic (well.. not talking about the recent ones with Novak).

Rafa got also this one. Unfortunately Tsonga was not really happy about a ‘missing overlue’ by the chair umpire on  a borderline call. Jo went furious to finally accuse chair empires to be bias.

‘It’s not fair,’ Tsonga said. ‘If it’s really close, he would never say ‘out’ against Rafa. If Rafa doesn’t like him any more, he would not be in the chair many times in a final and semi-final.’

‘I understand sometimes the frustration on this situation,’ Nadal said. ‘It’s a general thing with the referees today that with the Hawk-Eye, I believe that they feel that they have less pressure than before. Probably knowing that you have the challenge, they don’t take the risk to have to overrule. He’s right in one thing; he’s wrong in another thing.’

Rafa will play Murray in the Semis (4-6, 6-3, 6-4 over Tipsarevic).
