In France they would say ‘zis is very facile’ and in fact, Rafa was a little bit blessed.

Ok.. defining easy draws in such a tournament is not really appropriate. We may say… not-so-tough draws…

Besides the first 2 routine matches, Rafa should get in the quarters against one of his buddies (Almagro or Feliciano Lopez). Both are good friends and excellent players on clay, but  both have an understandable complex when they play with Rafa. Then the world nr.2 should play in the semis …. uhmm, Tsonga, Tipsarevic, Raonic or Verdasco (not in top form)… not so difficult for a fit Nadal.

Novak
The other side of the draw looks quite packed. Novak is expected to play Ferrer in the quarters (and you do not want to play him so early). The Serb is still the favourite (not a news here), but that might be a struggle. If he wins, he will play Murray and then possibly Nadal for the title.

If Novak wins this tournament beating Ferrer, Murray and Nadal… you know who is the favourite for the Roland Garros!!!

Where is Roger?
He won’t play the tournament. In fact, according to his page in Facebook…h
e is underwater enjoying a wonderful vacation saying “Just finishing up my vacation and sending everyone greetings from under the water!”

Rafa had a good draw, but Roger is not struggling either!
