Serena managed to defeat her tenacious opponent in straight sets.
Chapeau to Lucie that managed to get to the semis as a complete outsider. During the tournament, she defeated Kvitova and Sam Stosur both in straight sets and today she lost the first set only after bringing Serena to the tie break.
Unfortunately, Hradecka had to capitulate in the second set when Serena won 25 points out of 6.
So the final is going to be Azarenka – Williams. Serena leads 6-1, but Vika is now another player.
