Kim is about to retire from tennis for the second time.
The Belgian announced her first retirment in 2007 to give birth to her daughter Jada. Then she got back in 2009 to surprisingly win her 2nd US Open at her first attempt after the long hiatus.
Unfortunately Kin is now struggling a hip injury that made her taking this decision once again.
“As it stands I will end my career at the US Open. That is where I enjoyed my greatest triumphs and it is a very special place for me,” Clijsters said.“The stadium is only about 45 minutes from our house in the United States and my parents-in-law will be present.”
You’ll never know. Maybe she will retire again go have another child and then comeback and win another major at her first attempt!
