Too much stress, too much tennis for the Williams especially for Serena that has been continously playing since the Roland Garros. Time to rest.
This is definately good for the other players that were just unable to confront Super Serena in the recent tournaments.
Top seeds are: Azarenka, Radwanska, Sharapova, Stosur, Kvitova, Kerber, Wozniacki and Errani.
Q1 – Azarenka
Maybe Vicka was the unlucky one as she has to play probably Goerges in her first match, then Lisiki, Kvitova/Bartoli and Sharapova in the semifinal.
Quarter prediction: Azarenka, Kvitova
Q2 – Sharapova
She has a much easier draw to play Mchale/Rus in her first match and then, Hantuchova/Jankovic, Wozniacki/ Cibulkova.
Quarter prediction: Sharapova, Cibulkova (the Slovakian is playing quite well and she may upset Wozniacki)
Q3 – Stosur
Good quarter for Sam as she will might play Halep, Safarova/Cirstea (the Romanian could be dangerous), Ivanovic/Kerber.
Quarter prediction: Stosur, Ivanovic (Ana should blossom again!)
Q4 – Radwanska
She had a good draw as Azarenka, Sharapova and Kvitova are on the other side of the draw. The only early problem is the unpredictable Mona Barthel in the 2nd round, then she may play Pennetta, Li/Errani.
Quarter Prediction: Radwanska, Li Na (the Chinese defeated Errani 4 times out of 4).
