Superb Djokovic destroys Ferrer to reach the final in Melbourne

An absolutely remarkable tennis from the world no.1, one of the best of his illustrious career.

Nole confirms he has completely recovered fro Wawrinka’s epic match to demolish Ferrer in no time. (89 minutes)

The Match 6-2 6-2 6-1

Not much to say . Ferrer has the same game as Djokovic, the difference is that the Serb is much better at doing that. This is a terrible thing especially for a baseliner as in theory the weaker should try to attack his opponent to radically change his game: this is something that Ferrer wasn’t simply able to do.

Nole blasted 30 winners and only 16 unforced errors to win 85 points vs. Ferrer’s 41.

From Nole

“Definitely at this stage of a tournament, playing the semi-finals against the World No. 4, somebody that I have respect for, a great competitor, and being able to perform as well as I did, it’s incredible. I have a great feeling about myself on the court at this moment,” said the world no.1.

From David

“He played very, very good. I didn’t have any chance to win tonight. It was a good three weeks and I’m very happy for that. Of course, I am not happy with my game tonight, but this is tennis. I would prefer to play worse in the semi-finals than in the first round.” Said Ferrer

Nole about Federer Murray

“It’s going to be a great match, obviously,” said the Serb . “They’re great rivals and also the best players in the world at this moment. They will definitely perform their best for sure in semi-finals. I wouldn’t rate anybody as a favourite. Just considering myself, I’ll be ready for whomever I play against.”

At this point there is no doubt. Nole is the super hot favorite to win this Australian Open.
