Esther Vergee has been and still is one of the most inspiring figures in sport history. The 31-year-old Dutchwoman retired after winning an astonishing 470 consecutive matches in 10 years.
During the last years she won 120 consecutive tournaments, 21 grand slams single titles, 23 grand slams doubles titles. Esther won 95 matches winning 6-0 6-0 to drop only 18 sets!
