Great solid game from Djokovic.
The Match
The Serb won a good first set breaking Delpo the first (and only) time asking . The world no.1 was almost perfect in his service games to lose only 5 points out of 25 in the opener.
The second set was quite different with the Argentine to take a 3-0 lead. Nole regrouped to win 5 straight games to then be broken again when he was serving for the match. The set went eventually to the tiebreak when Nole won it at 4.

“I was very pleased with the performance overall and the way I handled myself in the tough moments,” said Djokovic.
“Mentally I stayed tough and believed that I could go all the way and win in straight sets. I didn’t really allow myself to be negative. I have been very, very positive and confident, so I think that resulted with overall a really good performance.”

“He deserved to win. He played so well in the tie-break. I was break up in the second set and I made mistakes.” he said.
The Final
Nole will face Berdych in the final. Head to head is 12-1 for Nole that has recently defeated the Czech in the quarters at the Australian Open 6-1 4-6 6-1 6-4.
