Nadal defeats Almagro to reach the final in Acapulco

Great Rafa!

The King of Clay is slowly but surely finding his tennis to reach another final in South America.

As expected the match with Almagro was a tough one. The difference between the two was a break in each set for Rafa that finally won 78 points vs. Almagro’s 73. The match lasted 1 hour and 48 minutes.

About his knee

“I moved well today,” Nadal said. “I can’t say that it didn’t trouble me sometimes, but the troubles are normal. What is most important is I didn’t have any limitations.”

The Final

Rafa will play Ferrer in the final. Head to head is 16-4. Rafael would be the favorite, but given the fact that Ferrer is playing really well and Rafa has still some doubts about his knee… David might be the pick.
