The last 4 weeks have been wonderful for Rafa. Losing the final in Vina del Mar to Zeballos wasn’t a low point, but the beginning of everything.
After that Rafa won in Brazil and Acapulco by trashing both Nalbandian and Ferrer in the final.
Now Rafa thinks he is ready to compete with the elite once again.
From Rafa
“If you ask me if I’m capable of beating one of the top three it would be difficult, but today I beat the No. 4 in world and the difference… between No. 3 and No. 4 isn’t much,” Nadal said.
“Ferrer is one of best, most complete players in world.”
About the Roland Garros
“I didn’t think I was ready for that level, but I was ready to fight, and enjoy it,” Nadal added. “Matches like today make me believe I can play at the level I played last year at Roland Garros.”
This year’s French Open is going to be so much fun.
