Sublime Federer beats Dodig to reach the 4th round in Indian Wells

Too much Roger for Dodig. The Swiss is playing an amazing tennis to cruise in the 4th round in Indian Wells and confirm that he is the man to beat in this tournament.

The Match

Roger struggled just in the opening game when he lost the first 3 points to find himself 0-40 down on his serve. After saving the 3 break points Roger reached a tennis level difficult to match for the other humans. The Swiss got the decisive break in the 7 game on Dodig’s double fault to win the opening set 6-3.

The second set was a kind of exhibition for Roger that was blasting winners effortlessy from everywhere on the court.

About the earthquake

Apparently the only scare of the day for Roger was a 4.7 earthquake that struck 9.55 am.

“I didn’t know how long it was going to last, if it was going to get worse from there, or if the worst was already past,” he said.

“It was a very strange feeling to have because you see the windows shaking and you look up and realize you’re under a structure. It was quite scary for a second there.”

The Next Match

King Roger will play in the 4rth round either Hewitt or Wawrinka.
